This simple hypnosis induction combines fractionation, relaxation and countdown induction methods to put someone into trance.
Any induction that involves opening and closing the eyes has come to be called a Dr. Flowers induction. Doctor Flowers is easy to learn and a good induction for beginners. Most versions start with an instruction to visualize something, but that is not necessary. Avoiding it makes this version of Dr Flowers suitable for people who can't visualize. It also has the advantage over the Elman Induction of being quicker and simpler, and you don't have to touch the client.
It is a good induction to use when you are hypnotizing a group of people.
