Paint Pot Pain Relief Hypnosis Script

Pain Relief is one of the benefits of hypnosis. Some pain is useful: it is the body's way of telling you not to move or stress the part that hurts. However, uncontrolled pain can intrude on normal life and chronic pain needs to be managed. Hypnosis for pain management is a recognized approach and can be very successful as part of a managed relief therapy program.

This script uses visualization and hypnotic suggestion to teach you how to relieve chronic pain. The Paint Pot Pain Relief script can be used in clinical hypnotherapy or for self hypnosis to manage your own pain.

This script works by getting the person to visualize their pain and then to visualize the color of a part without pain. The therapy gets the person to dip their paintbrush into the non-pain part and then paint it on the painful part. This metaphor is usually successful in bringing immediate relief.
